Terms & Conditions for Relax Chair and Wheelchair Warranty

 

1) STANDARD TERMS
1.1 WARRANTY PERIOD

Shun Hing Technology Co., Ltd. (“The Company”) authorizes Shun Hing Electric Service Centre Ltd. (“SHESC”) (collectively “Shun Hing”) to offer one year warranty service to the product commencing from the date of purchase invoice and will offer paid maintenance service and/or maintenance scheme when services are beyond the said warranty period. Warranty service/maintenance service/repair service is valid only in Hong Kong.

1.2 LIABILITIES
Shun Hing shall not be liable for any direct or indirect loss or damage to any person or property, howsoever caused arising from improper use, or any stoppage, breakdown or failure of the product.

 

1.3 OUTLYING ISLANDS / REMOTE AREA / RESTRICTED AREA / MACAU CUSTOMERS
Travelling surcharge will be levied if service is required at Hong Kong outlying islands, remote area, restricted area or Macau (excluding Tung Chung Town Centre). In case workshop repair service is needed, customer is responsible to deliver the product to our service centre or any place in urban area, and to pick up the repaired product from the same location.

 

2) CUSTOMER’S RESPONSIBILITIES
2.1 PRODUCT WARRANTY CARD

The Company’s Product Warranty Card is valid only in Hong Kong and Macau. Customer is required to present Product Warranty Card together with the official purchase invoice issued by the dealers of Hong Kong or Macau to our technician for verification when service is required, otherwise repair service will be on chargeable basis. Product Warranty Card is valid only if the model number stated corresponds with that of the product and the date of purchase stated is the same with the date of official purchase invoice. Save and except our Product Warranty Card, any other warranty card issued by other parties will not be accepted by Shun Hing. The Product Warranty Registration is valid only when all items on the Product Warranty Registration are properly filled in and mailed to SHESC or completed online product warranty registration within 10 days from the date of purchase, otherwise the Company reserves the right to reject any warranty service request.

2.2 ON-SITE WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Customer is required to provide necessary facilities and safety arrangement for our technician to inspect and repair the product, including product installed in open area or at height exceeding 2 metres above floor level, otherwise customer is responsible for the charges incurred by Shun Hing for arrangement of such access.

2.3 SERIAL / LOT NUMBER
Customer shall not alter the serial / lot number of the product. The Product Warranty Card is void if the serial / lot number on the product does not match with that stated on the Product Warranty Card (if applicable).

2.4 WARRANTY SERVICE
For any defect which in our opinion is caused under normal use, SHESC will repair or replace the defective parts, excluding the chargeable items listed below, free of charge within the warranty period. Any defective part which has been replaced shall become the property of SHESC.

2.5 LOCATION OF PRODUCT
Customer should inform SHESC promptly of any change of location or ownership of the product.

2.6 MAINTENANCE SERVICE AND EXTENDED MAINTENANCE SCHEME
The Company and/or SHESC may notify you about the maintenance service and/or extended maintenance scheme of the product.

2.7 LASTEST PROMOTIONS AND OFFERS
The Company would like to communicate with you via email, phone, SMS, or App for latest promotions and offers in relation to electronics and electrical appliance, health and beauty, furniture and etc.

 

3) CHARGEABLE ITEMS
Warranty service does not cover the following items. Additional charges shall be levied if services are required:
3.1 Repair or replacement of accessories, external cables or cabinet of the product.
3.2 Repair or replacement of painted frame, all rayon or PU coverings and those parts covered by them.
3.3 The product has been explicitly or implicitly modified, tempered with, altered or repaired in any way by persons other than technicians of SHESC.
3.4 The product has been damaged through misuse, negligence, power interruption or abnormal voltage input, accident, natural calamities, or due to ingress of insects, foreign matters or liquid, corrosion or external factors.
3.5 The product is not a fixed installation on land.
3.6 The normal operation of the product is affected by improper installation of the product.
3.7 Removal and/or reinstatement of any decorations or facilities hindering the service work of the product.
3.8 The domestic model of the product is used for industrial or commercial purpose.

 

4) ENGLISH / CHINESE VERSION
In case there is any inconsistency or conflict between English version and Chinese version of the Terms and Conditions, the Chinese version shall prevail.

 

5) Governing Version
The governing version of the Terms and Conditions is the online version and shall prevail when there is any inconsistency between the online version and the printed version on Guarantee Certificate/ Guarantee Registration Card/ Warranty Certificate/ Warranty Registration Card/ Warranty Card/ Guarantee Registration Form (if any).

 

6) Dispute
All Terms and Conditions stated are subject to change without notice. The Company retains final deciding authority in case of dispute.

 

7) CONTRACTS (RIGHTS OF THIRD PARTIES) ORDINANCE (CAP. 623)
Nothing in the Product Warranty Card confers or purports to confer on any third party any benefit or any right pursuant to the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Ordinance (Cap. 623) to enforce any term of the Product Warranty Card.
